TEDx Nishtiman held its first international conference

On Saturday, 1st of April, 2017, and after six months of the hardworking of (150) girls and boys, the first conference of TEDx Nishtiman was held for one day at the hall of Sadon Abdullah in Erbil which was about " The life stories, experiences, and the success of some specialist and talented people".
At the beginning of the conference, the presenters of the conference expressed their thankfulness to the presidency office of the Kurdistan region and the vice president of Kurdistan government. Then Mr. Rawend Hussain thanked all the volunteers. The first speech was delivered by Lena Kay, a Transformation Coach. She talked about the importance of what mankind is attracted in and like to do. She further stated that we need to value our thoughts and build them. Likewise, Lena added that "Everyone wants the society to change, but you cannot change it unless you change yourself".
After that Asst. Prof. Dr. Hemin Latif from the Information Technology centre at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani, Musician Hazhar Zahawi, Souhair Al-Qayssei, a Senior News Anchor and Raed al-Saleh, the Head of White Helmets participated video at the conference. Also Hanna Jaff, Politician and Philanthropist, Salwan Zaito, Multi-media entrepreneur, Sherri Kraham Talabany, president and executive director of SEED foundation, Azad Mohammed, Kurdish Farmer, Bayar Shahab, IT Specialist and activists Ravan Al-Taie and Thamer Elias, and some other ones participated at the conference.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Ahmad Luqman, the Research assistant at the University of Zakho and Kurdish language coordinator at (TED) Organization participated at the conference.
